Bring Arvind Kejriwal back: Atishi in 1st speech as Delhi Chief Minister

AAP leader Atishi praised her mentor and Aam Aadmi Party national convener Arvind Kejriwal in her first speech after taking charge as the Chief Minister of Delhi, saying that the only thing that they have to do now is to bring back Kejriwal to power.
“Today, I have taken oath as Chief Minister but it is an emotional moment for us when Arvind Kejriwal is not the CM. Arvind Kejriwal changed the lives of people of Delhi. We all have to do just one work now- to make Arvind Kejriwal the chief minister of Delhi again”, Atishi said in her first speech after being sworn in as Delhi Chief Minister.
“Setting an example of honesty and integrity, Arvind Kejriwal resigned from the chief minister’s post. He said, ‘The court’s decision alone is not enough. I will go to the people’s court, and I will not return to the Chief Minister’s seat until the people of Delhi declare that I am honest’, Atishi said praising Arvind Kejriwal.
Atishi was sworn in as the 8th Chief Minister of Delhi on Saturday at Raj Niwas. She succeeded Arvind Kejriwal, who resigned from the post earlier this week after being released on bail in the liquor policy case.
Five cabinet ministers — four from the previous ministry and a new face — were also sworn in along with her. The new council of ministers announced by the AAP include Gopal Rai, Kailash Gahlot, Saurabh Bharadwaj, Imran Hussain and new entrant Mukesh Ahlawat.
The tenure of the Atishi government will be brief as assembly polls in Delhi are due in February next year.
